What we do

For The Times When You Might Need Some Help

Philosophy

Most of us manage our lives successfully. There are times, however, when personal problems interfere with relationships, job performance, and physical health. Everyone can benefit from help when these difficulties arise. That's why your employer is providing a special employee benefit called, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

Maximize productivity minimize losses

Our Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) provide confidential counseling and referral services that support your employees and enhance the effectiveness of your organization. EAP services are designed to help your employees and their eligible household members accurately identify personal problems and work to resolve their difficulties. Our clinicians are experienced, highly trained professionals. All have a Master’s degree or higher in fields like counseling, social work or psychology. Most have more than 5 years experience and all are trained in short term counseling and licensed or certified in the states in which they practice.

Our Mission

Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for individuals and organizations through superior professional services and timely interventions.

The Employee Assistance Program is dedicated to the health and happiness of employees and their families. The core of the statewide program is based on the belief that an employee is the most valuable resource that a business can have. A troubled employee cannot work to his/her potential nor realize his/her full value. Our goal is to help the troubled employee work towards a solution to the problem, there by returning to the workforce to make a productive contribution, while sparing the needless expense of disciplinary action or possible dismissal.

We a support and self-referral service, based on the concepts of confidentiality, volunteerism, and people caring about people. Our program consists of a joint labor and management committee, representing the ideals of both the unions and management, and a coordinator. The committee oversees the program and coordinator, much like a board of governors, oversees the management of an organization.

We are a neutral program used as an option to immediate discipline to assist the employee.

How much does it cost?

Will my employer know if I use the Services?

What can I expect during the initial session?

There is no cost to EAP Member Company employees or their immediate family members.  A fee of $85 is charged for clients of non-member companies.

Absolutely not!  The only information your company receives is a statistical report on an annual basis.  The report does not identify individuals.

The initial session allows you the opportunity to discuss your concerns with one of our professional counsellors in a confidential setting.  Counselling sessions are 50 minutes.
